Come join the Carondelet High School Basketball Coaching Staff on Sunday, October 4th for a Free Basketball Clinic. The event is being held for 6th-8th Grade CYO Girls Basketball players at the Christ the King Parish Gymnasium located at 199 Brandon Road in Pleasant Hill from 9am-11am. The entrance to the gym is in the upper parking lot of the school. This is a great opportunity to learn from the Coaches of one of the premier High School Basketball programs in California. The FastBreak Camp, hosted by the Lafayette Girls Basketball Foundation, will take place Monday-Thursday, June 22-25, from 1:00-4:00 PM at Acalanes High School. The camp will be led by Acalanes girls’ basketball coaches and players, including senior athletes who will be playing basketball on scholarship at the collegiate level next year. Complete Live Scan fingerprinting Go to the UPS Store in Pleasant Hill with the attached “Request for Live Scan Service” form. CTK CYO has an account here, so it can be charged directly to CTK CYO. Confirm Virtus Training and Live Scan are complete Once your Virtus and Live Scan are cleared, we ask that you provide a screenshot showing these items are completed by going into your Virtus online account and clicking on ‘Training History’. Complete New Coaches Workshop Multiple dates will be available to satisfy this requirement. Dates, times, and locations will be available in the Fall. For RETURNING COACHES that were certified for the 2025-26 season: You will need to have completed a Virtus safe environment training AFTER September 1, 2023. If your most recent Virtus training was before this date, you will need to complete a new one and send me a new screenshot of your Virtus Online ‘Training History’ sheet. Picture day will be Thursday 11/2 at the CTK Parish Hall. It will take place from 4pm to 7:30pm. Pictures will all be taken individually with no group team photos. Photographer will add all individual photos together for the team pictures. No forms need to be filled out by parents beforehand. Please be on the lookout within the next couple weeks for team time slots.
Our Religious Education students meet at and are discharged through the Parish Hall every Tuesday and Wednesday. Our administrative staff and yard duty volunteers arrive around 3:00 PM and our students are typically picked up by 5:15 PM. Traffic cones are put out to block parking in the row of spaces adjacent to the hall around noon on class days. Our volunteers pick up the cones after the last students are released to their parent or guardian. Please do not move the cones or park in the spaces that are coned off. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
This clinic is designed for the all levels of youth coaches. Whether it’s your first year as a CYO coach or you have been coaching for awhile, this clinic will go through offensive and defensive schemes for youth basketball, skill development in practice, and learning how to maximize your time in practice to get the most out of your team.
