The Carondelet Varsity Basketball Coaching Staff is offering a Free Basketball Clinic for all girls grades 6-8 to be held at Christ the King gym. Come join the Carondelet High School Basketball Coaching Staff on Sunday, October 4th for a Free Basketball Clinic. The event is being held for 6th-8th Grade CYO Girls Basketball players at the Christ the King Parish Gymnasium located at 199 Brandon Road in Pleasant Hill from 9am-11am. The entrance to the gym is in the upper parking lot of the school. This is a great opportunity to learn from the Coaches of one of the premier High School Basketball programs in California. The 2026-2027 Basketball season registration is scheduled to close August 7, 2026. If you have not yet registered and are interested, please register as soon as possible. Registration is open to boys and girls grades 3-8. To qualify, participants must either Be a current Christ the King Catholic School student, or Be a current CTK Religious Education Participant (up to grade 5 only), or Live within Christ the King Parish boundaries Please reference the Diocese of Oakland Parish Locator to determine whether you live within the Christ the King Parish boundaries. For more information regarding Christ the King’s Religious Education program, please visit the Religious Education Program Site . Registration is filling up quickly, so please register as soon as possible. Once rosters have reached capacity, new registrants will be placed on the waitlist. Some divisions already have waitlists. Waitlisted participants are not guaranteed roster spots. CTK CYO will do its best, however, to ensure everyone gets an opportunity to play provided we have sufficient volunteers, coaches, gym time, and capacity to support all participants. Participants on the Waitlist will be offered a spot should one open. Participants must accept that offer as soon as possible or that spot may be offered to the next participant on the Waitlist. Hello Families, I hope you’re having a great start to the summer! I wanted to share an exciting opportunity for young athletes—a local girls’ basketball camp this summer. The FastBreak Camp, hosted by the Lafayette Girls Basketball Foundation, will take place Monday-Thursday, June 22-25, from 1:00-4:00 PM at Acalanes High School. The camp will be led by Acalanes girls’ basketball coaches and players, including senior athletes who will be playing basketball on scholarship at the collegiate level next year.
